InContext4.ie was the awarded the best Local Government Award at the 2017 Ireland eGovernment Awards, the website was designed for South Dublin County Council’s Arts Office to promote their Public Art Programme 2016-2019 under the Per Cent for Art scheme.

The Ireland eGovernment Awards recognise the innovators and forward thinkers who are pioneering changes and helping deliver better online services for Irish citizens today.

South Dublin County Council’s In Context project highlights the artworks sponsored and subsidised by the citizens. Along with making a truly useful website, it’s actually quite beautiful.

The Awards are Ireland’s most sought-after accolade in Irish eGovernment, honouring the leaders driving digital services, communication and democracy online. Following a rigorous adjudication process, the winners were announced at the Awards ceremony on 26 May 2017 in Dublin Castle.

The In Context 4 - In Our Time website was shortlisted in two categories; the General Category and the Best Local Government Website Category.
