  • Website Design and Development

Creating extraordinary experiences for audiences and developing and producing ground breaking work, Galway International Arts Festival (GIAF) is one of Europe’s foremost arts festivals.

The Challenge

Galway International Arts Festival has evolved over the last 40 years from an internationally renowned 10-day festival to producing a year-round programme of talks and touring theatre productions.

The organisation needed a clear and coherent online presence which tells the story of the organisation, reflects its year-round programme of events, and showcases the festival each year to an international audience.

The Approach

Clear thinking around information design, content design and interaction design delivered a clear and focused website that communicates the exhilaration of Galway International Arts Festival experience to new and returning visitors.

The site is fully accessible, enabling engagement for all users with disabilities. Responsive design was used to ensure that users regardless of their device size would have a great experience using the website.

The visual language of the website gives visitors a sense of the festival experience without distracting from the content and usability of the website.

The website architecture allows users to easily find the information they need with ease.

🎉 The website design was included in the 100 Archive selection 2019
