Temple Bar Gallery and Studio, a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery in the heart of Dublin, where everyone can experience art for free.
Temple Bar Gallery + Studios is a leading artists’ studio complex and contemporary art gallery in Dublin. They required a new website which would reflect the gallery as a centre for creativity in Dublin City and promote exhibitions, events, and opportunities for artists.
The goal was to show the gallery as a place for artists to thrive and as a means for everyone to experience contemporary art for free.
The new website uses a black and white colour palette to allow the artwork to take centre stage. Photography is used throughout to give a sense of activities taking place and people engaging with the space. The sparse colour palette and relationship between words and images allows for typographic echoes of the contemporary art world.
🎉 The website design was included in the 100 Archive selection 2019.
